Spring is in the Air

Posted on
It has been a busy few months here at the gallery and with Summer just around the corner we just thought we would share with you some of our favourite products and events that we attended this season!
 .................................................................................................
In early April, we made our yearly visit to the British Craft Trade Fair in Harrogate on the hunt for some fab new stock and to catch up with our current suppliers. There are always so many talented artists and makers that we never quite make it around the full circle of the event hall! But we did discover some amazing new designers and placed our orders for the season ahead. Here is a little sneak peak of what's to come...

We also attended the Living North Fair in May, although admittedly this was less work and more play. It was a lovely day to have a browse through the independent maker's stalls and sample lots of delicious food and drink (our favourite part!!). Of course, we had to test out our fair share of gin, liqueurs and indulge in hand baked cakes, pizza and gourmet popcorn... There goes the holiday diet - oopsie!

Summer is almost here, one of our busiest times of year in Stanhope with people travelling from far and wide to our little destination village and we just can't wait to see what the rest of this year has in store for us! To conclude this month's post, here are some of our favourite products this Spring...

Etta French is a gorgeous brand of scented jewellery candles with the prettiest pastel packaging and floral/sweet/fruity fragrances making them the perfect spring staple in any home!

Lucy Pittaway's bright and cheerful fine art prints give us major spring vibes, especially this particular print 'Butterflies and Babies'. How lovely would this look hanging in the sunshine?!

Thursday 23rd May was World Turtle Day, and we just loved the way these David Meredith bonsai bronze sculptures look like a little turtle family! We have a wide range of David's miniature pieces from farm to garden and even sea animals.
